Deuteronomy 13:6-8

⁶ If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own life entices you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods—gods you have not known, you nor your fathers,

⁷ Of the gods of the peoples who are round about you, near you or far away from you, from one end of the earth to the other—

⁸ You shall not give consent to him or listen to him; nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him.
